Cork was widely used elsewhere, but hard to source and harder to specify here.

We learned the material, its economics and what it takes to supply it reliably. Much of the work became putting a client’s own name on something they could give away.

Cork only made sense once it was part of a finished space.

So we began designing and building those spaces, from the same studio.

Clinics were handing patients toothbrushes that carried somebody else’s brand — the opposite of what our cork clients wanted.

We built one that could carry theirs.

That taught us a practical lesson: a better alternative only works if it fits the way a business already buys and distributes.

Hotels continued stocking conventional plastic amenities because better alternatives did not arrive reliably.

So we worked on the supply problem, not only the material.

Across the businesses around us, another gap kept appearing.

Enquiries, appointments and follow-ups were spread across calls, notebooks and disconnected software.

We began building software, AI and automation around the way those businesses already operate.
